Curly Wurly Lashes began as a whimsical dream in the cozy sunroom off my grandma's lounge, back in 2019. Just a 19-year-old with a passion for lashes and a whole lot of sparkle!

Fast forward, and here we are, darling! I'm your lash magician, the bubbly brains behind the brand. I dove headfirst into the lash game, scoring my qualifications in 2019 and never looking back. But oh, it doesn't stop there! I'm all about keeping things fresh and fabulous. That's why I've been soaking up all the latest tips and tricks, from in person training with glam gurus to online courses galore.

 

You name it, I've mastered it!

Now, let's talk dreams. Back in the day, I had my sights set on early childhood education to specialise in speech therapy. But fate had other plans, honey!

 

Beauty beckoned, and I couldn't resist. Who knew that a little high school formal trial with lash extensions would lead me down this fabulous path?

Now, why did I ditch the old 9-to-5 grind, you ask? Well, let's just say I've had my fair share of dodgy workplaces. I wanted more than just a paycheck; I wanted passion! So, I decided to take matters into my own perfectly manicured hands and create Curly Wurly Lashes. A place where routine meets radiance, and every client leaves feeling like a million bucks!

And let's not forget the NZ Lash Awards 2023! Talk about a dream come true! Yours truly snagged first place not once, not twice, but THREE times! Can you believe it? Little old me, taking the lash world by storm! Then again taking out second and third the 2024 Lash Industry Awards
